AVITA Enters Strategic Partnership with MegazoneCloud, One of Asia's Largest Cloud Service Providers, to Jointly Develop 'Physical AI' Business Models

AVITA Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Hiroshi Ishiguro; hereinafter "AVITA") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic partnership with MegazoneCloud (Headquarters: Seoul, South Korea; CEO: Doug Yeum; hereinafter "MZC"), one of Asia's largest cloud managed service providers (MSP), to jointly develop global business models utilizing Physical AI.

Background and Purpose of the Partnership The two companies recently held a signing ceremony at MZC's office in Seoul and its industry-academia research center in Gwacheon, attended by key stakeholders including Shogo Nishiguchi, Executive Vice President, COO/CFO of AVITA, and Doug Yeum, CEO of MZC. Through this partnership, the companies will integrate AVITA's AI avatar technology with MZC's advanced cloud and AI infrastructure to jointly develop "Physical AI" services that operate autonomously in real-world spaces and promote their deployment across diverse industries.

About the Physical AI Services to be Developed AVITA will integrate its avatar customer service platform "AVACOM" and AI role-play support service "Avatre" with physical hardware in the real world (Physical AI). Moving beyond the repetition of pre-set actions, the companies will build a new model where AI autonomously perceives and judges surrounding conditions. This model will focus on natural and sophisticated interaction with customers while performing guidance and simple physical tasks. This will support business transformation across various industries, such as customer service and product delivery in retail stores, and physical operations in factories.
