Audible to Release Shichiri Nakayama's 'Man Who Talks to Fire' Narrated by Junya Enoki on May 28

Amazon Audible, one of the world's largest services for audiobooks and spoken-word content, will exclusively release the Audible original work 'Man Who Talks to Fire' by Shichiri Nakayama, narrated by Junya Enoki, starting Thursday, May 28. This title was produced as an 'audio-first' work, meaning it is an original story written by a leading author specifically for Audible, designed to be experienced first through audio.

Shichiri Nakayama, who debuted in 2010 after winning the 8th 'This Mystery is Excellent!' award for 'Goodbye Debussy,' has been a prolific writer of music-themed mysteries and social issue-based works. Many of his books are already available on Audible and have garnered strong support from listeners. This is Nakayama's first audio-first project. Following the audio release, the work is scheduled to be published in print and e-book formats by NHK Publishing on November 25, 2026.
