Atom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shigeru Aoi; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will hold the So Hanazaki Solo Exhibition "ENERGY DOSE ― collective immanence ―" and the duo exhibition "Flowers for urban maladies 2.0" with Yuka Shiobara at Courtyard HIROO, a multi-cultural complex in Hiroo, Tokyo.
The main exhibit of the So Hanazaki Solo Exhibition "ENERGY DOSE ― collective immanence ―", titled "PANACEA PILL ─ collective value ─", is a participatory installation utilizing the method of instructional art. Its core theme is "what one seeks externally already exists within oneself."
Visitors will infuse their own energy into five FRP sculptural works representing "Love," "Peace," "Enlightenment," "Desire," and "Void," and assign a value to them. The median value accumulated throughout the exhibition period will become the official selling price of the artwork, an experimental endeavor. This initiative questions the very concept of "value," following the philosophy of Joseph Beuys, who stated, "individual creative acts can be the material of art, and society itself can be re-conceived as a single sculpture." The acts of individuals are not isolated; they overlap with the actions of others to generate new meaning — this activity resides within a collective immanence.
In addition, a display of two-dimensional works and a workshop space will be available, and "Flowers for urban maladies 2.0," the latest iteration of the duo exhibition "Flowers for urban maladies" held with Yuka Shiobara in 2022, will be simultaneously held on the second floor.

Flowers for urban maladies 2.0
In 2022, Yuka Shiobara and So Hanazaki held the exhibition "Flowers for urban maladies" during their residency at Sono Aida # Shin-Yurakucho.
Shiobara created large-scale paintings featuring repeated motifs of bouquets of peonies and Kinranso as a symbol of "panacea."
The repetition of bouquets highlights how women and non-Western cultures have been disregarded as "vulgar."
