● The average price of new single-family homes in the Tokyo metropolitan area was 49.43 million yen, up 0.9% from the previous month. The year-on-year increase was 4.6%, marking the 19th consecutive month of increase.
● Tokyo (23 wards/suburbs), Kanagawa Prefecture (Yokohama City/Kawasaki City/others), and Saitama Prefecture (Saitama City/others) reached their highest prices since January 2017. In the 23 wards of Tokyo, properties priced over 100 million yen account for more than 20%.
<8 Areas Outside the Tokyo Metropolitan Area (January-March 2026)>
● Quarter-on-quarter, Aichi Prefecture rose for the 8th consecutive period, and Fukuoka Prefecture rose for the 9th consecutive period. Year-on-year, only Kyoto Prefecture saw a decline.
● Hokkaido, Aichi Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, and Fukuoka Prefecture renewed their highest prices since the first quarter of 2017.

The average price for the entire Tokyo metropolitan area rose both month-on-month and year-on-year.
Looking at the month-on-month changes by area, areas that had been declining also turned upward, resulting in increases across all 8 areas. The 23 wards of Tokyo and the Tokyo suburbs have been performing steadily, rising for 8 consecutive months and 14 consecutive months, respectively. Furthermore, compared to the same month last year, all areas exceeded the previous year for the 12th consecutive month.
Additionally, 6 areas—Tokyo (23 wards/suburbs), Kanagawa Prefecture (Yokohama City/Kawasaki City/others), and Saitama Prefecture (Saitama City/others)—updated their highest amounts since January 2017.
