● Average advertised rents for both condominiums and apartments exceeded the same month of the previous year across all size categories in all 13 areas. This is the first time since the survey began in January 2015 that rents have exceeded the previous year's levels across all areas and all size categories.
● For condominiums, family-oriented sizes exceeded the same month of the previous year in all areas for 7 consecutive months. For single-oriented sizes, Tokyo's 23 wards renewed record highs since January 2015 for 22 consecutive months, and Osaka City for 20 consecutive months. Nagoya City hit record highs across all size categories for 3 consecutive months.
● For apartments, family-oriented sizes exceeded the same month of the previous year in all areas for 8 consecutive months. For single-oriented sizes, Tokyo's 23 wards renewed record highs since January 2015 for 11 consecutive months. Fukuoka City hit record highs across all size categories for 3 consecutive months.

・In this survey, 'rent' is defined as 'rent + management fee/common service fee' paid by the tenant per month.
・In the comments, 30㎡ or less is 'for singles', 30㎡ to 50㎡ is 'for couples', 50㎡ to 70㎡ is 'for families', and over 70㎡ is 'for large families'.
・The average rent index in this survey sets January 2015 = 100.
・The rate of increase is rounded to the first decimal place. The top 3 increase rate tables are based on figures before rounding.
