Atelier Etoile Co., Ltd. Celebrates its First Anniversary

Atelier Etoile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Atelier Etoile) celebrated its first anniversary on March 28th.

Supported by everyone's assistance and connections, we have advanced various initiatives across art, education, and cultural exchange over the past year. We extend our heartfelt gratitude.

Atelier Etoile views art not just as an 'object of appreciation,' but as a crucial opportunity for children to engage in dialogue with others, think for themselves, and cultivate their sensibilities. In particular, while cherishing the cultural perspective connecting France and Japan, we have been working to expand the possibilities of art education centered on mediation.

Since our establishment, we have focused on planning and managing art workshops centered on children, collaborating with Japanese and French cultural institutions, educational bodies, and corporations, and creating new learning spaces through culture and art. We believe that creating experiences of 'seeing,' 'feeling,' 'verbalizing,' and 'sharing with others' through art will become increasingly important in the society to come.
Particularly, in an age where access to knowledge and information is expanding dramatically, we believe what is required of humans is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but the 'power to feel,' the 'power to question,' and the 'power to co-create meaning with others.' Art is one of the most essential domains for nurturing such powers and serves as an important foundation for children to engage with the world through their own sensibilities and words.
