ATC Imported Housing Promotion Center (IHPC) to become "ATC Kurashi Design Plaza"

Asia Pacific Trade Center Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suminoe-ku, Osaka) will change the name of the ATC Imported Housing Promotion Center (IHPC), jointly operated by Osaka City and our company, to "ATC Kurashi Design Plaza" starting October 1, 2026 (Reiwa 8), and will begin operations under a new brand concept.

With this name change, in addition to disseminating information on housing, building materials, and equipment, we will expand into a comprehensive exhibition facility that provides a wide range of information related to housing and living, including eco-houses, domestic timber, interior design, exterior design, and lifestyles.

Since its opening in 1995 (Heisei 7), IHPC began with the aim of promoting the spread of imported housing. Subsequently, in response to changes in the housing market and lifestyles, it has evolved into a comprehensive exhibition facility that introduces not only imported housing and overseas products but also a diverse range of housing-related products and technologies, such as high-design domestic and international building materials, equipment, domestic timber, and interiors.

More than 30 years have passed since its opening, and the values sought in housing have changed significantly.

Based on these changes in the times, we will shift to a new brand as a hub for disseminating information on sustainable and high-quality housing and living, broadening our perspective beyond just "housing" to encompass "living" itself.

[New Logo Mark]

The new logo mark is designed with the ATC Building ITM Building as its motif.

It is composed of 12 lines symbolizing the 12-story ITM Building, with the 9th floor, where the exhibition hall is located, expressed in an accent color.

It also incorporates the shape of "D," the initial letter of "Design," symbolizing the new start of ATC Kurashi Design Plaza and the facility concept of "a comprehensive exhibition hall for designing sustainable and high-quality living."

[Future Development]

ATC Kurashi Design Plaza will disseminate new values related to housing and living as one of Japan's leading comprehensive exhibition and information dissemination hubs for housing and living, bringing together approximately 100 companies and organizations.

In addition to the exhibition hall, we will disseminate information nationwide through our website and virtual showroom, and create new opportunities for interaction among companies, organizations, local governments, and designers through seminars and exchange programs. We will also strive to contribute to the development of the Osaka Bay Area as a hub for information dissemination on housing and living.
