ATC (Osaka City, Suminoe-ku, Nanko-kita), the closest complex to the Expo site, will host the 'Trash Festival: Trash Instrument Workshop' on May 3, 2026 (Sunday), together with steAm BAND (Yokohama, Kanagawa; Representative Director: Sachiko Nakajima).

This project has been conducted since fiscal 2022 as the 'Trash Festival: Trash Art Contest' in collaboration with the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion 'Inochi no Asobiba KURAGE-KAN (Jellyfish Pavilion)'. This year, the event has evolved into an experiential event that expands into the possibilities of 'sound,' where participants create instruments from discarded materials and play music.
