ASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. has announced the domestic release of the 'ROG XREAL R1,' the world's first※ gaming AR glasses with a 240Hz micro-OLED display, developed by Republic of Gamers (hereinafter ROG). Pre-orders will begin at 14:00 on Monday, June 15, 2026, with shipments starting sequentially from Tuesday, July 14, 2026, on ASUS Store, Amazon, and the official XREAL e-commerce site. Shipments are also scheduled to begin sequentially from late July 2026 at Bic Camera, Yamada Denki, and Yodobashi Camera.

Advanced electrochromic (light-adjusting) lens technology automatically adjusts lens transmittance according to ambient lighting conditions.
