ASUS JAPAN Expands Sales Channels for the ASUS RT-BE18000 WiFi 7 Router

ASUS JAPAN Inc. announced that it will expand sales channels for the ASUS RT-BE18000, a WiFi 7 router first released as an Amazon-exclusive model on April 25, 2025. The product will become available sequentially at electronics retailers and e-commerce sites across Japan from May 22, 2026. The ASUS RT-BE18000 features advanced WiFi 7 technology and comes with dual 10G ports, including a 10G WAN port and a 10G LAN port. It also supports wired backhaul, allowing users to maximize WiFi 7 performance in mesh networks. The router is designed for next-generation connected experiences in home entertainment and cloud computing, including 8K streaming, HDR gaming, content creation, and AI applications. With support for the high-speed 6GHz band, the ASUS RT-BE18000 delivers ultra-fast tri-band WiFi 7 connectivity of up to 18Gbps. It offers broad WiFi compatibility, supporting a wide range of devices from the latest WiFi 7 mobile devices to conventional IoT products. Through Multi-Link Operation (MLO), the router automatically combines and switches between the optimal 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands to provide buffer-free connectivity. Supported MLO modes and bands vary depending on the client device, so users should check each device’s specifications for details. The router also supports ASUS AiMesh, enabling a wider, more stable, and secure network environment with rich features. Users can manage their entire smart home under a single network name. Advanced family protection and parental control features are included without requiring a subscription. Key specifications include a 2.0GHz quad-core processor, eight internal antennas, 2GB DDR4 RAM, 256MB flash memory, tri-band 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz support, WiFi 7 speeds of up to 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, 5764Mbps on 5GHz, and 11529Mbps on 6GHz, as well as 10G WAN/LAN, 10G LAN, 1G WAN/LAN, and USB 3.0 ports. The device measures 159 × 72 × 186mm and weighs 855g.
