Details of the registration event can be found here.
Approximately 70% of childcare facilities face challenges in "securing childcare workers."
In Shimane Prefecture, while the declining birthrate and population decrease are progressing, securing childcare human resources to maintain the local childcare environment has become a significant issue. A "Survey on the Status of Childcare Worker Acquisition for Reiwa 7" conducted by Shimane Prefecture revealed that approximately 70% of childcare facilities in the prefecture responded that it is "difficult to secure" childcare human resources, highlighting the reality that many facilities struggle with recruitment despite ongoing hiring activities.

Furthermore, in recent years, support for the return to work of "latent childcare workers" (those with childcare qualifications who are currently not working in the field) has been emphasized. In Shimane Prefecture, re-employment support is being provided, primarily through the Childcare Worker and Childcare Center Support Center.
Support for childcare human resource acquisition in Shimane Prefecture throughout the year
Asuka Co., Ltd. has been entrusted with the Shimane Prefecture Childcare Human Resource Acquisition Support Project, implemented by Shimane Prefecture, to support the acquisition of childcare human resources within the prefecture.
This project continuously posts job openings from childcare facilities and supports human resource acquisition year-round through matching childcare workers and other personnel with facilities.
When utilizing Asuka's dispatched childcare workers, a system is in place where the prefecture and municipalities provide support for a portion of the costs borne by the facility. Facilities can utilize personnel by bearing the equivalent of the hourly wage actually paid to the staff.
Amidst the challenge of personnel shortages in childcare settings, this project aims to promote childcare worker employment through the utilization of dispatched childcare workers and to stabilize childcare sites, working to create an environment where childcare facilities in the prefecture can continuously provide childcare services.
Personalized career change and return-to-work support for each childcare worker
To contribute to solving these regional issues, Asuka Co., Ltd. will hold a childcare worker registration event for individuals seeking childcare jobs in Shimane Prefecture or considering returning to work.
On the day of the event, we will provide information on job openings at childcare facilities, certified child centers, after-school day services, and after-school clubs in Shimane Prefecture, as well as offer consultations on work styles tailored to each individual's wishes and lifestyle.
For those with a career break or who feel anxious about returning to the childcare field, dedicated childcare coordinators will conduct thorough interviews, providing support while addressing concerns about career changes, returning to work, and career anxieties.
While leveraging its network of 21 locations nationwide, Asuka values support tailored to the childcare situation in each region. Based on job market trends and facility characteristics in Shimane Prefecture, we support individuals in finding suitable workplaces and provide ongoing follow-up to ensure they can continue working with peace of mind after employment.
No resume required and participation is free, so even those who simply want to gather information are welcome to attend.
