An awe-inspiring Valkyrie, Valhalla, Vanquish, and the F1 car AMR25 will also participate in the thrilling action on the famous Goodwood Hill.
June 29, 2026, Gaydon, UK:
Aston Martin returns to the magnificent setting of Goodwood House this year for the 34th Festival of Speed, taking place from July 9th to 12th, with an overwhelmingly impressive and luxurious lineup.
This year, the festival, held within the expansive Goodwood Estate in Sussex, UK, will showcase Aston Martin's most powerful and dramatic lineup in its history.
The centerpiece of the lineup in the supercar paddock will be Aston Martin's latest "S" models, led by the breathtakingly fast DB12 S. With class-leading dynamic performance enhancements, the DB12 S super tourer boasts a maximum output of 700 PS and 800 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in an astonishing 3.4 seconds. It reigns supreme as the most powerful non-hybrid vehicle with a front-mounted V8 engine in its class.
Its dynamic performance is honed to match its formidable power, featuring a calibrated 8-speed automatic transmission capable of 120-millisecond shifts. Refinements to the damper software, optimization of the electronic differential (E-Diff), and thicker anti-roll bars further enhance handling and deliver exceptional agility. Standard carbon ceramic brakes provide enhanced stopping power while significantly reducing unsprung weight. The exhaust note, now even more resonant, further accentuates its intense character.
Alongside this potent DB12, two other new models bearing the special "S" designation will be exhibited: the agile and dynamic Vantage S, and the commanding and comprehensively equipped DBX S.
The Vantage S, Aston Martin's most performance and track-focused sports car, naturally excels in sheer power and extraordinary dynamic capability. Setting a benchmark for Aston Martin's acclaimed front-engined sports cars, the Vantage S will tackle the Goodwood Hill with a maximum output of 680 PS and 800 Nm of torque from its 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, the Vantage S will ascend the iconic hill, harmonizing all control functions through "S" specific drive-by-wire throttle mapping for a more connected experience.
Similar to the DB12 S, the Vantage S features significant changes to its suspension and powertrain mounts, enhancing agility, feel, driver engagement, and stability. Styling revisions, including a central bonnet blade and a full-width rear deck lid spoiler, complement its high-performance credentials.
Meanwhile, bringing a performance-focused character to the luxury SUV segment is the DBX S, which consolidates strengths across various domains into a five-seater all-wheel-drive package. Returning to the same stage one year after setting a previous hill climb record, the DBX S is powered by an engine enhanced with technology directly inherited from the Valhalla supercar, delivering class-leading levels of connection and responsiveness. Figures such as 727 PS maximum output, 900 Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and a 47 kg weight saving compared to the DBX707 eloquently demonstrate its capabilities.
All of this is packaged with the same dynamic enhancements applied to the other "S" models. Additional styling elements on the exterior and interior further emphasize the DBX S's commanding presence in real-world driving.
To showcase the depth and diversity of Aston Martin's supercar and hypercar lineup, this year's festival will also feature the Valhalla, a PHEV supercar boasting a maximum output of 1079 PS and 1100 Nm of torque, the ultimate hypercar Valkyrie, and the third-generation new Vanquish, which continues to evolve as the pinnacle of Aston Martin's legendary front-engine sports car lineup. The Vanquish also celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Each of these models possesses its own unique excellence, embodying Aston Martin's fusion of contemporary luxury and ultra-high performance driving experiences in an exotic and exhilarating manner.
The Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team will also be present at this year's Festival of Speed, bringing the excitement and speed of F1. This weekend, the team's AMR25 will tackle the world-famous Goodwood Hillclimb, with Jack Crawford and Jessica Hawkins making their debut at this summer's celebration in an F1 car.
Commenting on the 2026 Goodwood lineup, Aston Martin's new Chief Creative Officer, Marco Mattiacci, stated: "The Festival of Speed is always a significant landmark event for us, and this year, we believe we have curated a selection that is entirely worthy of this celebration of the finest automobiles."
"Our presence, centered around the 'S' models, strongly demonstrates our commitment to exceptional engineering and exhilarating driving on the road. Meanwhile, the unveiling of Aston Martin's masterpieces such as the AMR25 and the road-legal F1 car, Valkyrie, showcases Aston Martin's broad and deep commitment to automotive excellence. We are confident that, as always, we will play our part in making this a truly memorable festival for all attendees."
The 2026 Festival of Speed at Goodwood will open to the public on Thursday, July 9th, and run until Sunday, July 12th.
