Twenty-five years ago this month, Aston Martin unveiled the V12 Vanquish to the world for the first time. Arriving with a new name and as an entirely new model, it was the most advanced, state-of-the-art sports car Aston Martin had ever designed, developed, and manufactured.

Now in its third generation, the Vanquish remains the pinnacle of Aston Martin's renowned front-engined sports car lineage. Showcasing the exceptional engineering capabilities within the company, this third iteration of the Super GT boasts a maximum output of 835PS and 1000Nm of torque, making it the most powerful flagship model in Aston Martin's illustrious history upon its debut in 2024.

While the current model sits at the apex of Aston Martin's front-engined sports car range, the inspiration and aspiration for the original model that gave rise to the current halo model, powered by its incredible 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, was developed a quarter of a century ago and revealed at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show as the first Aston Martin to bear the prestigious Vanquish name.
