Background of the Book's Publication

Japan has not been idle during the so-called 'lost 30 years.' However, much of its efforts have focused on incremental improvements within existing frameworks, failing to fundamentally rewrite the underlying conditions. As deep-tech supremacy—where industrial competitiveness and national security converge—advances, driven by AI, quantum technology, biotechnology, and next-generation energy, Japanese companies are now required to establish positions in the global supply chain where 'the world cannot function without Japan.'

This book is a practical strategy guide that consolidates Asta Musume’s vast database of over 10 billion data points and insights gained from supporting innovation and new business development for over 400 major domestic corporations. Immediately after its release, it has been embraced by executives, R&D departments, and business developers as a 'concrete, ready-to-use blueprint for surviving uncertain times,' leading to its #1 ranking in four Amazon categories.

Key Contents and Features of the Book

Visualization of 'Strategic Indispensability (Chokepoints)' Driven by Over 10 Billion Data Points

By scoring objective intangible asset databases—including 120 million patents, 260 million academic papers, 7 million grants, and startup investments—the book precisely identifies critical 'chokepoints' that Japanese companies must secure in advance. These include areas such as optical lattice clocks, perovskite solar cells, and nuclear fusion reactor cores, which are difficult to detect through simple aggregation of public information.

A Cross-Domain Perspective on 'Redesigning Japan'—Integrating Policy, Management, and Investment

The book interprets 17 strategic fields and 8 cross-cutting foundations not merely as policy checklists, but as a blueprint for transforming Japan into a 'crisis management investment nation.' It integrates topics from AI and quantum technologies to space, ocean, logistics, and geopolitics into a single volume, with each chapter concluding with concrete implications for businesses and investors.

Reader-Exclusive Bonus: 'Practical Worksheet' for Immediate Corporate Strategy Assessment

A QR code in the book allows readers to download the exclusive 'Practical Worksheet for Designing Strategic Indispensability.' This intuitive, hands-on tool enables users to assess their company’s strengths, visualize geopolitical risks, and clearly understand their current strategic position.

'Latest Dataset for 24 Domains' Now Available Alongside the Book

Aligned with the strategic fields discussed in the book (biotech, quantum, energy, etc.), the 'Latest Dataset for 24 Domains' enables organizations to conduct deeper macro analyses and track competitive risks independently. Launched simultaneously with the book, it has already attracted strong interest from companies aiming to materialize their strategies. This dataset allows cutting-edge technological insights to be directly integrated into corporate strategic planning.
