ASOBISYSTEM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yusuke Nakagawa) announces that the digital program "Harajuku TV" starring CANDY TUNE, co-produced with Nippon Television Network Corporation's vertical video boutique "VIRAL POCKET" and QREATION Inc., will begin streaming on YouTube from 6:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026.

This work is a new-sensation digital program in a situational comedy and variety format set in Harajuku, where "kawaii" (cute) and "chaos" intersect. It features members of the popular idol group CANDY TUNE taking on full-fledged acting for the first time.

Nippon TV x QREATION x ASOBISYSTEM: Leveraging the strengths of three companies to create "IP Co-creation" content

This work is co-produced by two companies that have created hit content in the SNS era. Nippon TV's vertical video boutique "VIRAL POCKET," which handles works like "Everyday We Blush," and "QREATION," a digital IP studio that handles "Today is Desperate Again" and "Ueda Shinya Area" and co-produces "Chokotto Party," have teamed up. Idol group CANDY TUNE challenges their first full-fledged acting as a group

Sparked by the hit of "Baibai FIGHT!", CANDY TUNE is currently the idol group with the most momentum. In this work, the seven members will take on their first full-fledged acting roles as a group.

As a situational comedy, they will challenge new roles while utilizing their own characters, stepping into expressions they have never shown before.

In addition, two members of the M-1 Grand Prix champion Nishikigoi will appear. Takashi Watanabe will play the role of the station director, and Masanori Hasegawa will play the role of a local talent. Also, Yutaro, an actor belonging to ASOBISYSTEM like CANDY TUNE, will play the role of a broadcast writer, fully expressing the highly eccentric members of the television station.

Program Overview / Synopsis

The setting is "Harajuku TV," a small television station in Harajuku. Although it was once bustling as a hub for youth culture, it has been left behind by the waves of the times, and now even the survival of the station is in jeopardy.

The ones to rebuild such a television station are highly eccentric staff and performers. A somewhat unreliable director, overly free talents, directors who tend to spin their wheels, ADs who tend to run wild, and unique announcers.

Sponsor problems, crisis of program cancellation, uproar over talent poaching, and even acquisition by foreign companies... While being tossed about by troubles that befall them one after another, they struggle to overcome them with wisdom and momentum.

What is born amidst the laughter and chaos is a somewhat passionate "television station youth ensemble drama" of clumsy adults. Kawaii x Chaos x Television Industry. Reiwa-style sitcom (situational comedy) variety show begins broadcasting.
