ASKB2B Starts Selling Pre-Configured Synology NAS Models

ASK Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has started selling pre-configured Synology NAS models on its membership-based corporate-exclusive EC site, ASKB2B. By providing pre-setup NAS completed products with short lead times, ASK supports the reduction of system construction man-hours and early operation.

In recent years, the use of NAS has expanded beyond file servers and backup purposes to include virtualization platforms, surveillance camera recording, cloud integration, and other multi-purpose data platforms. However, the initial setup, disk configuration design, RAID settings, and other kitting work required for deployment have become a significant burden for system integrators and information systems departments, making it difficult to respond to multi-location deployments and short-term projects with limited personnel.

To address these challenges, while we have been providing a one-stop service from the procurement of NAS products to construction services, this time we have added a line-up of 'pre-configured models' on ASKB2B to support faster and simpler NAS deployment.

Features of pre-configured models

The pre-configured Synology NAS models provided by us are configured models designed for corporate use, offering an easy-to-deploy lineup. You can choose a model that suits your needs by selecting the capacity configuration, maintenance content, and the presence or absence of various options.

Available for order with HDDs pre-installed

You can order the configuration with HDDs pre-installed on the target NAS main unit. Simply choose the capacity class according to your purpose, and you can proceed with the initial setup immediately upon arrival.

Configurations based on the number of bays

We have prepared configurations with the number of drives based on the number of bays for each NAS. You can check and select the mounted drives and capacity configurations for each model in a list.

Support for RAID configuration specifications

You can specify your desired RAID level at the time of order. Kitting is performed with a configuration that matches your policy, such as fault tolerance and capacity efficiency.

Maintenance and options can also be selected

You can choose the number of years of maintenance, service content, and the presence or absence of the HDD return not required option according to your operation. You can also consider on-site response and long-term maintenance together.

Expanding 'One-Stop Infrastructure Support' by ASK

Based on our extensive experience in the introduction, construction, and support of Synology NAS, we are expanding our service system to include design, construction, and data migration. Starting in March 2026, in addition to the setup and configuration services we have previously provided, we have started offering comprehensive Synology NAS construction services that cover the system construction domain for IT infrastructure, including data migration from old products and other vendors' products, redundant configurations spanning multiple locations, and cloud integration for BCP measures.

This enables us to provide comprehensive technical support tailored to customer requirements, including 'data migration support' from planning to execution and verification for migration from existing NAS or file servers, 'enterprise-oriented system construction' considering authentication, authorization control, and availability requirements, 'BCP and cloud integration configurations' utilizing multiple locations and clouds, and 'advanced backup design' including ransomware countermeasures and immutable design.

In the future, we will consider strengthening the lineup of solution models optimized for specific purposes, such as backup, surveillance cameras, and virtualization, by combining these construction services with pre-configured models provided on ASKB2B. This will enable us to support the construction of infrastructure bases that support data utilization and DX promotion for various customers, including corporations and educational institutions, in a one-stop manner.
