ASICS Launches 'SHINE PACK' Volleyball Shoes Worn by Japanese Men's National Team

ASICS Japan will launch the 'SHINE PACK' collection of 4 models worn by the Japanese men's national volleyball team at international competitions, available for pre-order from June 11 (Thursday) on the ASICS online store, and sequentially at sports stores nationwide from June 18 (Thursday). The collection includes the 'METARISE 2' and 'SKY ELITE FF MT 4' worn by ASICS-contracted players Yuji Nishida (Osaka Bluteon) and Ran Takahashi (Suntory Sunbirds).

Manufacturer's suggested retail prices range from ¥19,580 (tax incl.) to ¥27,500 (tax incl.).

The SHINE PACK is designed under three themes: 'DREAM TEAM', 'STRONG POWER', and 'FUSION', visually expressing strong team unity. Neon colors symbolizing physical and mental strength serve as key colors, with vivid designs representing each player's strength and energy. As gradients overlap, they depict the unity of individual forces into a greater power—the strongest team. The team's presence, pushing forward with strong bonds even in adversity, shines like a light in darkness. SHINE PACK is not just a product but an icon symbolizing the team's strength, unity, and energy toward victory.

**SKY ELITE FF 4 / SKY ELITE FF MT 4**

These new models are performance shoes developed for elite players, supporting high jumps and stable landings.

The midsole features 'FF BLAST MAX', a foam material with excellent rebound and cushioning. This is the first time a foam material used in running shoes has been adopted for volleyball shoes, supporting powerful jumps and repeated takeoffs.

The midsole also includes 'RISETRUSS', a synthetic resin reinforcing part that suppresses midfoot torsion, enhancing support during jumps and direction changes for smooth transitions. A gap between RISETRUSS and the midsole allows effective compression during landing, providing superior cushioning.

The upper features 'DYNALACING', a structure linked to the laces that adapts to foot movement, providing stable support for powerful jumps.

This model is for players seeking quick starts in various directions. Combining SPEEDTRUSS in the midsole with X-GUIDANCE outsole for quickness supports fast movements and cuts on the court. The full-length FLYTEFOAM midsole pursues both lightness and cushioning.

**METARISE 2**

The METARISE 2 supports higher and more powerful jumps. The FF BLAST PLUS foam in the midsole generates excellent rebound and cushioning, while a carbon fiber plate evenly distributes pressure on the foam, converting it into vertical force for energetic jumps and soft landings. The upper's MONO-SOCK structure fits foot movement and provides superior ankle support with stability and hold.
