(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mizuki Kusaka; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which aims for the sustainable evolution of logistics that supports society by supporting everything from the logistics site to management and strategy, is pleased to announce that it has obtained a patent for its dispatch table generation technology that integrates driver labor and attendance information (including health checkup information) and vehicle operation and inspection information (Patent Number: Patent No. 7842394, Date Obtained: April 8, 2026). The Company will continue to actively protect the intellectual property related to its developed technologies to strengthen the foundation for providing stable services in the long term.

Background of Patent Technology Development

The "dispatch scheduling" that the patented technology focuses on is the core operation for transportation companies, where drivers, vehicles, and routes are optimally assigned to orders received from shippers, and its quality directly impacts revenue. How to efficiently operate a single vehicle, how to assign work to a single driver without overworking them – all of these are reflected in sales, costs, and profit margins.

However, dispatch scheduling is not a simple assignment task; it is a highly complex decision-making process that requires simultaneously considering diverse factors such as the driver's physical condition and work status on a given day, the vehicle's maintenance status and special equipment availability, delivery time specifications and loading conditions for each shipper, and the type of cargo and temperature control requirements. In recent years, legal restrictions have also become increasingly stringent, and even experienced dispatchers require considerable time, skill, and experience to create a day's schedule.

Despite being a task of such high difficulty and importance, traditional dispatch scheduling systems required dispatchers to manually cross-reference driver labor status and vehicle inspection information, which were dispersed across separate systems or documents from the dispatch table. The technology for which the Company has now obtained a patent was developed to solve these issues, eliminate such inefficiencies, and assist with legal compliance.

This technology integrates driver labor and attendance information with vehicle operation and inspection information in real-time and visualizes it as a single dispatch table. While displaying order information and vehicle information prominently, it allows users to check labor status and inspection status on the spot simply by hovering the cursor over a driver or vehicle, and it includes a mechanism to immediately issue a warning for drivers who cannot be dispatched due to legal restrictions.

It also enables switching between "by driver," "by vehicle," and "by regular order" views, as well as visualizing unassigned orders, providing multifaceted support for dispatchers' decision-making.

Furthermore, by visualizing dispatching know-how, which has traditionally relied heavily on the implicit knowledge of experienced personnel, it contributes to eliminating reliance on individuals and accumulating organizational intellectual assets.

Our invention integrates this information into a single dispatch table, realizing a system that allows for an at-a-glance understanding of drivers on leave and vehicles undergoing inspection. We recognize this as a patent of extremely high importance in the field of logistics DX. Furthermore, the scope of rights covered by this patent is extensive and has the potential to become a foundational technology for the industry. What is particularly unique is the ability to visualize and consolidate information that is typically managed separately – order information, vehicle information, and driver information – on a single screen. This allows for switching and using the dispatch table from three perspectives: by vehicle, by driver, and by regular order. Another significant feature is the ability to view unassigned orders collectively in a list. These functions are exclusively provided by our company and are expected to further enhance the usability of Logix. Additionally, due to the complexity of dispatch operations, training new staff has traditionally taken time, but we anticipate that this technology will lead to the early development of skilled junior staff.
