Ascend Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Miki Mizusawa, hereinafter referred to as 'the Company'), which promotes logistics DX, will open a new office in Fukuoka from June 2026 to expand its business and improve services for customers in the Kyushu region. On this occasion, we will hold a seminar titled 'Kyushu Logistics Management Seminar - Discussing the Future of Transportation Management with Yanagawa Godo, a Company You Want to Cherish the Most in Japan' for transportation companies in the Kyushu region on August 6 (Thursday) from 14:00 to 16:30 at the TKP Hakata Sumiyoshi-dori Conference Center.
Background and Purpose of Opening The Company started providing 'Logix,' a cloud-based transportation management system for trucking companies, in 2022 and has grown into a service that can be used by people all over the country. As a result, the number of customers in the Kyushu region has also increased, and the need for more detailed and speedy responses has been growing.
The trucking industry is currently undergoing a major transformation. The strengthened regulations on overtime work (known as the '2024 Logistics Problem') that came into effect in April 2024, as well as the planned introduction of appropriate cost and permit renewal systems (Note 1), are accelerating changes in the business environment.
The Kyushu region is geographically distant from the metropolitan area, and as a result, the proportion of long-distance transportation is high, placing a structurally large burden on drivers. Such waves of transformation are particularly large in this region (Note 2). Additionally, the IT adoption rate of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kyushu is low even on a national scale (Note 3), and while there is a high need for digitalization support, there is a reality that sufficient accompanying support has not been provided to the region.
In light of such circumstances, the Company will open a new office in Fukuoka to provide more rapid and dense support to transportation companies in the Kyushu region. By establishing a system rooted in the region, we will strongly support the DX of management for companies that stand at the forefront of industry transformation. Incidentally, we plan to gradually expand our base to various regions across the country in the future.

I will promptly support the efficiency of such complex transportation.
Appropriate freight rates are also an important issue. To ensure that logistics continue to function as a sustainable social infrastructure, we will support your growth through the creation of systems that allow you to receive the necessary compensation.
I intend to take a long-term perspective and become rooted in the region. Without being bound by our own products, I will coordinate with all vendors to propose the best solutions for each company.
Ultimately, I will strive to the best of my ability for the development of the transportation industry in Kyushu.
Seminar for Transportation Companies To commemorate the opening of the Fukuoka office, we will hold a seminar co-sponsored by Yanagawa Godo Co., Ltd. The theme of this seminar is 'Not just surviving, but taking the initiative.' In the midst of major changes in the industry, including the 2024 problem, we will learn about management perspectives on how to steer management and what to initiate—through a talk with Mr. Arakawa, the representative director of the company.
