Ascend to Host Seminar for Shippers on Management Reform Led by CLOs

Ascend Co., Ltd. will hold a free online seminar titled 'Thorough Explanation! Management Reform Led by CLOs - Intensive 2-Day Course' on July 8 and 9, 2026, for CLOs (Chief Logistics Officers) and executives of shipper companies. The seminar features authors of 'Management x Reform' published by the Japan Institute of Logistics Systems (JILS), explaining concrete approaches to transform logistics from a cost center into a driver of financial metrics like ROIC and CCC, as well as non-financial value creation. This comes against the backdrop of the revised Comprehensive Logistics Efficiency Act, enforced in April 2026, which mandates the appointment of CLOs for certain shippers. The seminar aims to provide insights on utilizing logistics functions to improve corporate value. Day 1 (July 8) focuses on transforming logistics into non-financial value, and Day 2 (July 9) covers the roadmap for ROIC and CCC management realized by CLO organizations.
