Asahikawa Winery (Uryu-gun, Hokkaido) is pleased to announce the first-ever release of its wine, "Campbell Early 2025 Vintage." This wine is the memorable first vintage from Asahikawa Winery, using Campbell Early grapes grown in our own vineyard, aiming to express the nature and individuality of Hokkaido's land to the fullest. Furthermore, starting from the 2026 vintage, we will further strengthen our cultivation, brewing, and quality systems, fully launching our community-rooted winemaking. In addition, Shin Shimokuni, a chef from Asahikawa, the first-ever champion of CHEF-1 Grand Prix, and a familiar face on TV, has been appointed as the official ambassador of Asahikawa Winery. He will promote the charm of Hokkaido's food culture and wine both domestically and internationally. Moreover, Katsuyuki Takahashi, who served as the production manager at Furano Wine, has been appointed as the wine consultant for Asahikawa Winery. Leveraging his knowledge and experience in Hokkaido wine, he will promote quality improvement and the creation of wines rich in regional character.
