Asahi Beverages Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tokyo, President Kayoko Kondo) will begin distributing a youth short drama series on June 17, created in collaboration between its 'Calpis' brand and the vertical short-form drama creator group Gokko Club.

The short dramas, themed around 'diverse high school students and their after-school lives with Calpis Water,' will be released as a series of sensitive coming-of-age episodes capturing the emotional lives of teenagers. Topics include club activities, romance, fireworks festivals, summer festivals, hometown visits, studying, and school cultural festivals. The series will be available on a dedicated website and through Gokko Club's social media accounts, including TikTok, with a user-participation SNS campaign also launched.

The 'Calpis' brand aims to contribute to the smiles and healthy lifestyles of people of all ages, from children to adults, under the theme of 'sweet and tangy taste experiences and memories connecting people and time, nurturing minds and bodies and expanding a peaceful society.' Through this collaboration, Calpis seeks to create broad touchpoints with teenagers, including high school students, and convey its charm as a brand that accompanies relaxing, comforting moments.
