Asahi Breweries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President: Kazuo Matsuyama) announced the limited-quantity release of "Haretahi no Mugicha High," a canned chuhai made with shochu and barley tea, starting April 14th. The product will be available for test sales exclusively on the "Asahi Kuso Kaihatsu Kyoku" website (https://fantasy.asahibeer.co.jp/). Each 340ml can contains 5% alcohol (13.6g pure alcohol). The product is sold in sets of six cans for 1,500 yen, including shipping and tax, with a total of 2,500 sets available. The barley tea used is made from hot-air roasted six-row barley, aiming for a refreshing taste while maintaining the characteristic aroma of barley tea. The "Asahi Kuso Kaihatsu Kyoku" platform is used for developing and testing new products based on customer feedback.
