Tokyo, Japan – April 1, 2026 – Asahi Kosan (President: Tomonori Yoshida) has expanded its partnerships with rental companies to promote the "Ichi Plus®" series of applications, which aim to reduce work hours and improve productivity for construction site supervisors and skilled workers, in response to the overtime work hour limits applied to the construction industry in April 2024.

Our company began full-scale sales to construction sites nationwide through three initial rental company partners in March 2020 and has since promoted partnerships with many rental companies.

Tokyo Rental, a construction machinery rental company (President: Yoshinori Fujimoto), has now joined as a partner company for this series. With this addition, the service will be widely provided through a total of 16 partner companies. This will enable "Ichi Plus®" series to be utilized at even more construction sites through rental companies, contributing to the resolution of issues at construction sites.

Moving forward, we will continue to develop new applications and add significant features to this series, and promote its widespread adoption in collaboration with companies operating in the construction site business, thereby contributing to the reduction of work hours and improvement of productivity at construction sites.

Overview of the "Ichi Plus®" Series The "Ichi Plus" series are productivity enhancement tools for construction site management tasks where location information is useful. Currently, we offer four applications: "Kōsha Kanri" (Equipment Management), "Rental Hin Kanri" (Rental Item Management), "Shinchoku Kanri" (Progress Management), and "Ichi Plus Sagasu" (Ichi Plus Search).

"Kōsha Kanri" and "Rental Hin Kanri" not only visualize the location of temporary materials and equipment but also assist in construction management for site staff and cooperating company users, enabling productivity improvements including cost reduction.

To date, this series has been adopted by approximately 40 companies, including five major general contractors, and used at over 1,000 sites, progressing in its widespread adoption at general construction sites and continuing to evolve.

Business Application Overviews ● Ichi Plus® "Kōsha Kanri" (Equipment Management) This application allows for reservation adjustments and placement searches for all aerial work platforms used on-site, linking them with cooperating companies. This clarifies usage fees and repair costs, and reduces on-site reservation management tasks. By optionally using the "Kōsha Keyless System," it enables unlocking and locking with digital keys, eliminating the need for key exchange and preventing troubles such as loss, thereby enabling smart management of complex key operations.

● Ichi Plus® "Rental Hin Kanri" (Rental Item Management) This application digitally manages rental items such as dollies, portable ladders, and temporary lighting, visualizing inventory and lending status to reduce idle items, loss, and over-ordering. Registration is simple by scanning a QR code when used, and it automatically records which cooperating company has borrowed what and how many, thus ensuring fair billing for rental fees and lost items. It supports multiple location registration methods, including QR codes, beacons, RFID, barometric pressure, and manual input, and can be used in combination according to site needs.
