The Chain Museum Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masamichi Toyama; hereafter 'The Chain Museum') has begun implementing the ticket sales system of its art communication platform 'ArtSticker' for 'ART OSAKA 2026', which will be held from Thursday, May 28 to Monday, June 1, 2026.
This year, the event will be held at two locations: the 'Galleries Section' at the new venue 'Grand Green Osaka (Umekita)', a state-of-the-art spot directly connected to Osaka Station, and the 'Expanded Section', utilizing the vast former shipyard site.
On ArtSticker, sales of 'Early Bird / Pair Tickets' offering up to a 1,500 yen discount have started from March 4 (available until April 15). In addition, during the exhibition period, our Representative Director Masamichi Toyama will take the stage at a talk event themed on the new value that art brings to society.
'ART OSAKA 2026': The Current State of Art Redefined at Two Locations Since its inception in 2002, 'ART OSAKA' has led the Kansai art scene. In 2026, it reaches a major turning point by expanding into 'Umekita', an area undergoing rapid urban development.
Galleries Section (Venue: Congres Square Grand Green Osaka) Set in the highly accessible 'Umekita', 52 domestic and international galleries will gather. Over 500 of the latest art pieces will color the urban space where business and culture intersect.
Expanded Section (Venue: Creative Center Osaka) Utilizing the industrial heritage of the former shipyard site in Kitakagaya, it will feature 13 large-scale installations and video works that are difficult to accommodate in standard art fairs. It offers a site-specific experience with an overwhelming sense of scale.
Galleries Section This venue is in a highly convenient location directly connected to the Umekita underground exit of Osaka Station, and exhibitions utilizing a cutting-edge space integrated with 'greenery' are planned.
