Our company endorses April Dream, a project that aims to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release is the dream of Artizan Co., Ltd.

Artizan Co., Ltd. is a group of creators who relentlessly pursue "authenticity" in spatial decoration and art modeling. Our earnest dream is not just to create beautiful spaces, but to convey two aspirations to the world: "disseminating Japanese traditional culture and spirituality" and "challenging a circular society where everything returns to nature," and to create new value with partners who share this vision for the future.

■ Beyond Superficial Beauty. "The Story of Materials" Moves People's Hearts

Left: Snow Magic, Center: Fairyni, Right: "Cherry Blossom" sculpture

Artizan has, until now, created groundbreaking spatial productions such as the "Cherry Blossom" sculpture, highly regarded as the best in Japan, the artificial snow decoration 'Snow Magic' which brings snow in mid-summer using uniquely developed materials, and 'Fairyni', an eco-friendly artificial flower that emits a fantastical glow without using any electricity. What we have always valued in these endeavors is not mere visual realism, but the "story" that moves the hearts of those who see it.

■ The Philosophy Discovered During the Blank Three Years: A Return to "Wa no Seishin" (Japanese Spirit)

Immediately after our founding, the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily brought our business to a standstill. However, those "blank three years" became a crucial period for us to re-examine the meaning of our craftsmanship.

"We want to leave a bright future for the next generation. How can we create a world without poverty or conflict, a society where everyone can challenge themselves and live with dreams and vitality?" — After much contemplation, we arrived at the spirituality of the Japanese "Wa no Kokoro" (spirit of harmony, compassion, etiquette, humility, and appreciation for nature), cultivated by enduring the harshness of the four seasons and living with ingenuity.

"To reclaim the spirituality lost through modernization. To integrate 'modern technology, traditional culture, and environmental consideration,' which is also the theme of our representative Tanaka's masterpiece 'Chidori,' is the true cutting-edge of design and craftsmanship."

Masterpiece "Chidori" integrating "modern technology, traditional culture, and environmental consideration"

Under this philosophy, by fusing environmental consideration (ecology) with Japanese traditional techniques imbued with the spirit of the artisan, next-generation unique materials such as "washi cherry blossoms" completely free of plastic were born.

What we aim for is an evolution from "monozukuri" (making things) to "kotozukuri" (creating experiences). We are convinced that value creation, which goes beyond merely providing products (mono) to adding the experience (koto) of the "story of materials" behind the decoration, will deeply move people's hearts across borders.

■ Future Craftsmanship Where Traditional Techniques and Environmental Consideration Intersect

Our dream is to present to society the future of craftsmanship through art that merges Japanese aesthetics with environmental consideration.

Echizen Washi: As an Expression Conveying Japanese Spirituality

Echizen Washi, a traditional craft from Fukui Prefecture with 1500 years of history

For the sculptures that adorn spaces, we generously use "Echizen Washi," a traditional craft from Fukui Prefecture with 1500 years of history. We do not merely consume washi as a material; we view it as an expression that conveys the spirituality and aesthetic sense cultivated by Japanese people since ancient times. At a time when more Japanese people cannot even name the "Three Great Washi," we hope to increase the number of individuals who can re-recognize their own country's wonderful culture through our spatial art and proudly speak about it to the world.

Recycled Materials and Natural Objects: A Cycle Returning to Earth

Fusion of traditional "Kigumi" (wooden joinery) without nails or screws, and art brought to life from discarded glass

By melting discarded "fluorescent lamp" glass at high temperatures to breathe new life into it as art, and by combining natural objects such as driftwood, we achieve both reduced environmental burden and the creation of beauty. By adopting traditional "Kigumi" (wooden joinery) that uses no nails or screws, we envision a future where "everything is composed of natural materials, and after serving its purpose, it returns directly to the earth" — such a circular ecology is what we aim for.

■ Global Expansion and Co-creation with "Partners" on the Same Ship

Bringing Japan's traditional beauty to the world. Co-creation with "partners" who share the same aspirations and create new value together

In recent years, Artizan's creativity has crossed oceans, expanding its scope of activity to historical international projects such as a large-scale installation exhibition for the "20th Anniversary of Japan-Monaco Diplomatic Relations" in the Principality of Monaco, and cooperation for the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States. However, our technology and passion alone may have limits in how far our aspirations can reach.

"We are looking for partners who resonate with this vision and will challenge the world with us."

We use this April Dream platform to make a call to action.

By joining hands with companies that share our aspirations, professionals from different industries, and artisans who inherit traditional techniques, we can generate an unexpectedly powerful force. We are seeking "true partners (fellow travelers on the same ship)" who deeply share the goal of "merging Japanese tradition with modern technology to contribute to global peace and environmental issues" and will challenge the development of new markets together.

Why not combine Artizan's "sensitive spatial production and art modeling capabilities" with your technology and ideas to create the greatest masterpieces that will astonish the world?

Bringing Japanese aesthetics to the forefront of environmental consideration.

Let's vividly repaint the ordinary everyday and globally disseminate the "authentic" value that connects to the future, together with us.
