ARTerrace Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Tetsuro Shinoda) launched a Proof of Concept (PoC) on April 1, 2026, for "ARTerrace RENT," a corporate service that allows spaces such as hotels, offices, and commercial facilities to rent artworks by Japan's leading traditional craft artisans, including Living National Treasures. Through this PoC, we will verify a model that utilizes the aesthetic and cultural value of Japanese traditional crafts for spatial design, while also testing service design and operational aspects for a future full-scale launch. At the same time, we are beginning to recruit businesses and facility operators to participate in this PoC.

ARTerrace is a service for general users (individual customers) that launched in February 2024 with the concept of "Creating a world where traditional crafts continue to be woven 100 years from now." Our strength lies in our direct network with Japan's premier craft artisans, including Living National Treasures. Through event planning, e-commerce sites, and media information, we have broadly communicated the appeal of these artisans and their works. (As of the end of March 2026: Approximately 100 registered artisans, including 20 Living National Treasures, with about 300 works listed.)

With the upcoming launch of our corporate rental service, "ARTerrace RENT," we will leverage the artisan network and expertise in the craft sector we have cultivated to support the introduction of craft artworks into offices, commercial tenants, and hotels. In addition to the craft rental function, we also plan to provide a curation service that supports everything from artwork selection tailored to the space to final installation.

Our company aims to expand opportunities for craft artworks to be incorporated more naturally into spaces like offices, hotels, and commercial facilities, rather than restricting them to limited viewing opportunities. Through the aesthetics, techniques, regional characteristics, and storytelling of craft works, we aim to provide a service that brings new value and experiences to spaces.
