Following this selection, Archeda will promote technology development aimed at advancing a platform for nature-based carbon credits in Asia, utilizing satellite data.

### Background of Technology Development In recent years, as decarbonization efforts by companies and governments expand globally, the demand for nature-based carbon credits has rapidly increased. However, the creation of carbon credits targeting natural environments such as forests and agricultural lands faces challenges such as accurate measurement of greenhouse gas absorption, ensuring transparency and reliability of projects, and wide-area and long-term monitoring. Therefore, the efficiency and advancement of MRV (Measurement, Reporting, Verification) processes have become important themes. Satellite data is attracting attention as a crucial technology for MRV of nature-based carbon credits due to its ability to provide wide-area and continuous observation.

### Archeda's Initiatives Archeda is developing an MRV platform for the creation of nature-based carbon credits using satellite data. In this project, we will promote the advancement of environmental monitoring technology for forests, agricultural lands, mangroves, etc., utilizing satellite data, the streamlining of carbon credit creation processes, and the expansion of the platform for project developers in the Asian region. Through this, we aim to improve the transparency and reliability of carbon credits and contribute to the healthy development of the market. Furthermore, by accelerating the social implementation of satellite data-based MRV solutions, we will contribute to the expanded utilization of space technology in the environmental field.
