About the Fisheries Agency's "Sakana no Hi"

* Overview: In recent years, with the decrease in consumption of Japanese seafood, the Fisheries Agency has established this initiative to aim for increased consumption of fishery products.

* Implementation Period: The 3rd to 7th of every month is designated as "Sakana no Hi," and November 3rd to 7th is designated as "Ii Sakana no Hi" (Good Fish Day).

* Objective: To promote initiatives for "delicious" and "enjoyable" consumption of fishery products nationwide through the collaboration of government and industry, and to deepen understanding of the blessings of the sea and Japanese food culture.

* átoa's Initiative: As a supporting member, we will continue to develop events and exhibitions that connect fish as living creatures from an aquarium's perspective with daily meals.
