Hiroshima Motomachi Aquarium to Host Collaboration Exhibition with Former Keeper Artist 'Nankanokin'

Hiroshima Motomachi Aquarium will hold a special collaboration exhibition titled 'Extraordinary Highlights of the Aquarium' starting June 5, 2026. Featuring 18 works by artist 'Nankanokin,' a former aquarium keeper, the event offers a unique perspective on the behind-the-scenes life and charms of aquatic creatures. This exhibition follows a successful run at Kobe's átoa aquarium and showcases illustrations from the book 'The Extraordinary Behind-the-Scenes Guide of Aquarium Keepers.' Admission to the gallery is free for visitors.
