Apptec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Kita Ward, President and Representative Director: Takahiro Konishi, hereinafter referred to as Apptec) has launched "BooT.one Helper," an AI-powered chat-style help function, and an automated drawing function for the "Rolling Sphere Method" to streamline lightning rod design, as part of its add-in tool "BooT.one" for improving Autodesk Revit work efficiency, starting June 30, 2026 (Tue).

BooT.one has been developed with practical functions based on user feedback from the field. This update further simplifies the utilization of its ever-evolving and expanding rich command set, strongly supporting the reduction of man-hours in design work.

Overview of New Features

AI Chat-Style Help Function "BooT.one Helper" (Early Access)

BooT.one currently features over 500 rich commands, and it has been challenging for users to master them all. To help users navigate and utilize these extensive commands without confusion, BooT.one Helper allows users to simply ask about the task they want to perform in a dedicated chat screen, and the AI will instantly suggest the optimal function or command.

Utilizes Latest Manuals as Data Source: It learns from Apptec's official manual data to provide answers based on the latest features. To enable users to check detailed operations, the answer includes a direct link to the relevant section in the manual's PDF.

Execute Commands Directly from the Answer Screen: The proposed answer displays an "Execute" button for the relevant command, allowing for a smooth transition to actual work without leaving the chat screen.

Automated Drawing Function for "Rolling Sphere Method" to Streamline Lightning Rod Design

By simply specifying the edges and points of a building, the system automatically calculates the required height for lightning rods and draws the protection zone curve using the Rolling Sphere Method onto the BIM model. This eliminates the manual calculation and drawing effort traditionally required, preventing design errors and significantly reducing drawing man-hours.
