Yawaragi Saijo Toyohira and Asahimizu Neighborhood Association to Co-host 'Asahi Suisha Machi Fes 2026' on June 20-21

Yawaragi Saijo Toyohira, operated by Ai Plan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Sapporo; Representative Director: Ikumi Shindo), will co-host the community event 'Asahi Suisha Machi Fes 2026' with the Asahimizu Neighborhood Association on June 20 (Sat) and 21 (Sun), 2026.

This is a community-focused event being held for the second consecutive year. The venue will feature stage performances by local schools, groups, and artists, as well as markets, food trucks, a riddle-solving stamp rally, message panels, and experience and consultation booths by the Ai Plan Group, offering a wide range of activities for all ages.

Yawaragi Saijo Toyohira hopes to be a place that local residents can visit easily and feel connected, not just as a site for funerals. Through this event, the company aims to express gratitude to the local community and create opportunities for people from children to adults to gather with peace of mind.

■ Special stage featuring local schools, groups, and artists
A special stage will be set up in the parking lot of Yawaragi Saijo Toyohira. Planned performances over the two days include live music from the Sapporo Municipal Asahi Elementary School brass band, the Sapporo Municipal Hachijo Junior High School brass band, local dance and Yosakoi teams, and other artists. Special guest 'Sasuke' will appear on the 20th (Sat), and local groups such as Hiragishi Tenjin Junior and Hiragishi Tenjin will appear on the 21st (Sun).

■ Markets, food trucks, and limited food options
The market will feature handmade goods, workshops, baked goods, accessories, and pet-related items. Food trucks and stalls will offer family-friendly menus including curry, rice balls, long fries, baby castella, hot sandwiches, banana juice, crepes, and yakitori. 'Club China' will also hold a special limited two-day service.

■ Children's activities and message panels
A 'Riddle-Solving Stamp Rally' will be held for elementary school children and younger, limited to the first 200 people each day. A 'Message Panel' themed 'Turning Connections into Form' will also be installed for people to share expressions of gratitude.

■ Experience and consultation booths by Ai Plan divisions
The venue will host booths by Ai Plan Group brands. Moiwa Shalom Church will offer 'kids' hair arrangement' and 'nail art experience/sales,' Seishindo will offer 'original prayer beads sales,' and Nihon Reibyo will offer 'consultations for graves, charnel houses, and pet charnel houses.' Additionally, there will be a 'gift item outlet sale' and an introduction to the Ai Plan membership system.
