Children's Dreams and Support Messages for Shirahama Sent into Fireworks: "Apaman Shop Omoitama Project 2026" Launches

The SKY ART FESTIVAL Executive Committee (Production: APAMAN Co., Ltd., C&E Inc.) announces the launch of the "Apaman Shop Omoitama Project 2026," a community participation initiative where APAMAN Co., Ltd. will participate as an "Omoitama Sponsor." This project will be held at the "SKY ART FESTIVAL 2026" on August 1, 2026, at Shirarahama Beach in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture.

Through this project, messages of dreams, hopes, future goals, and support for the future of Shirahama will be solicited from children in Wakayama Prefecture, including Shirahama Town. These collected sentiments will be incorporated into a special "Apaman Shop Omoitama" fireworks display, scheduled to be launched into the night sky over Shirarahama on the event day.

The initiative aims to create an opportunity for children to think about their future, foster a sense of attachment to their community, and serve as a community-based effort to support the future of Shirahama together.

"Apaman Shop Omoitama Project 2026" is a project that will embed children's dreams, wishes, future goals, and messages of support for Shirahama into fireworks and deliver them to the night sky over Shirarahama.

On the event day, a portion of the received messages will be introduced at the venue, and a special "Apaman Shop Omoitama" fireworks display will be launched with a countdown by attendees.

Through this initiative, we aim to create an opportunity for children to have summer memories and to build a space where we can support the future of Shirahama together with the local community and attendees.

Creating a New Reason to Visit Shirahama in Summer

Shirahama Town in Wakayama Prefecture is a resort area with diverse tourism resources, including Shirarahama Beach, hot springs, nature, food, and culture.

To encourage more people to visit Shirahama in the future, it is important to communicate the region's appeal in new ways and create reasons for visits.

"SKY ART FESTIVAL 2026" will be held as a new tourism content that combines the beautiful sea and sunset of Shirarahama with music and fireworks.

The "Apaman Shop Omoitama Project 2026," to be held within this festival, is not just a fireworks display but an initiative that connects children's sentiments, community support, and attendee participation. It aims to attract many people from within and outside the region to Shirahama, leading to increased tourism and revitalization of the local community.

On July 3rd, coverage of the production process at the fireworks factory is planned.

In this project, we are proceeding with the preparation of fireworks that will carry the children's sentiments, with the cooperation of Wakino Art Factory Co., Ltd., which is responsible for fireworks production.

On July 3, 2026 (Fri), we plan to visit the Wakino Art Factory fireworks factory to cover the production process of special fireworks themed around the sentiments collected from children.

The day's events will be shared after the event on the official Apaman Shop SNS and in press releases. Through the behind-the-scenes look at fireworks production, which is rarely seen, we will introduce the craftsmanship embedded in each firework and the children's aspirations.

"SKY ART FESTIVAL 2026" is a large-scale event combining music live performances and music fireworks, to be held on August 1, 2026 (Sat) at Shirarahama Beach in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture.

A total of 10 acts are scheduled to perform, including YU-KI & DJ KOO from TRF, Tatsuya Ishii, DA PUMP, Rimi Natsukawa, STU48, SHOW-WA, TEE, Haji→, Be-ray, and Pasmal.

At the finale, 8,000 music fireworks are planned to illuminate the night sky over Shirarahama in sync with the music. The sound and light performance, unfolding against the backdrop of Shirarahama's night sky and sea surface, is the biggest highlight of this event.

This event, held during the summer vacation period, is expected to attract many visitors from within and outside the prefecture, with ripple effects anticipated for the entire region, including accommodation, dining, and tourist facilities.
