The hotel to be acquired is a 5-minute walk from 'Iwakuni Station' on the Sanyo Main Line, JR Gantoku Line, and Nishikigawa Railway Nishikigawa Seiryu Line. It offers good access to the 'Kintaikyo' bridge, a nationally designated wooden bridge representing Japan, and is lined with local restaurants where you can taste Yamaguchi Prefecture's famous sake. It is expected to draw tourism demand in addition to business demand. Operated by APA Hotel Co., Ltd., it is scheduled to open as APA Hotel <Yamaguchi Iwakuni Ekimae Nishi> (150 rooms) on June 5, 2026, and reservations will be accepted starting today.

After the opening, renovation work is scheduled to be carried out while operations continue. In the guest rooms, the original bed 'Cloud fit', which pursues sleep comfort, will be introduced, and the bed width will be increased from 1,200 mm to 1,400 mm. Minor renovations to the unit bathrooms and conversion to card keys will also be performed.
