Announcement of the 9th "Apa Japan Revival Award" Implementation Guidelines

The Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Apa Japan Revival Foundation has now announced the selection implementation guidelines for the 9th "Apa Japan Revival Award".

The "Apa Japan Revival Award" system selects the most outstanding works from books published and papers presented within the last five years, which have been recommended by nominators, and are judged by the selection committee in light of the purpose of this award. Through the establishment of this award system, our foundation aims to promote research in fields such as modern and contemporary history, international relations, and politics/policy, which contribute to the growth and development of Japan, our proud homeland, and to widely disseminate excellent research findings. To enhance the social significance of this award, we have set the prize money at 5 million yen.

The "Apa Japan Revival Award" system is celebrating its 9th anniversary this year, and the past 8 award winners have been active in various fields for the revival of "Japan, a nation to be proud of." This time too, by discovering excellent works and continuing to spread them to the world, we will contribute to the growth and development of our nation.

Since its establishment, with the aim of "nurturing individuals with a correct view of the nation, the world, and history, helping the Japanese people regain the pride in their country lost due to a self-deprecating view of history, and fostering the growth and development of Japan, our proud homeland," it plans and operates the "True Modern and Contemporary History View" essay contest and "Shohei Juku" as public interest projects. Having received certification for its public interest activities from the Cabinet Office, it established the "Apa Japan Revival Award" system.
