Aohata Corporation (Headquarters: Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President and CEO: Toshiya Ueda, hereinafter "Aohata") will hold a breakfast support event "Aohata Morning Stand" for two days only on April 18 (Sat) and 19 (Sun), 2026, at the store event booth on the 1st floor of the Hiroshima PARCO main building, in collaboration with the Health Promotion Division of the Health and Welfare Bureau of Hiroshima Prefecture and Takaki Bakery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Takaki Bakery"). At this event, targeting the younger generation, a total of 800 original breakfast menus using Aohata jam and Takaki Bakery bread will be provided free of charge at a food truck. Students from Yasuda Women's University were also involved in the development of the menu provided. The event aims to increase interest in breakfast and create an opportunity to encourage behavioral changes toward healthy eating habits.
■ Supporting the health promotion and establishment of breakfast habits among the younger generation
According to a recent survey, 74% of the total population eats breakfast every day, and one in four people skips breakfast on some days. Furthermore, looking by age group, about one in six people in their 30s and younger hardly ever eat breakfast*. To improve this situation, Aohata, together with Hiroshima Prefecture and Takaki Bakery, will hold an event to convey the "importance" and "joy of eating" breakfast. By experiencing the breakfast menu at this event, we aim to increase interest in breakfast and lead to behavioral changes such as "eating breakfast every day". Pamphlets will also be distributed on the day of the event, providing information so that people can continue to enjoy breakfast at home.
