■ Background
In recent years, content businesses leveraging IP (Intellectual Property) such as artists, talents, and characters have expanded globally. The global media and content market is projected to reach approximately $2.9 trillion*1 in 2024 (about 435 trillion yen at 150 yen/dollar). Overseas sales of content originating from Japan reached approximately 5.8 trillion yen in 2023, and the government has set a target to expand this to the 20 trillion yen scale by 2033*2. Against this backdrop, the importance of global expansion for Japanese IPs is increasing significantly.

Amidst these developments, establishing an E-commerce infrastructure with an eye toward overseas expansion has become crucial for fan businesses, including IP merchandise sales and fan club operations. On the other hand, operational challenges are also increasing, such as handling massive traffic spikes during limited product releases, managing logistics operations involving high-volume shipping, language localization, and international delivery.
The Company has previously provided multiple E-commerce support services in the entertainment and IP sectors. Based on this expertise and proven track record, we have launched this package.

■ Comment from Kosuke Sogo, Representative Director and CEO of AnyMind Group
In the entertainment industry, the importance of IP-centric fan businesses is growing globally, demanding an operational structure that crosses multiple domains such as E-commerce, logistics, and marketing. Through a BPaaS model that combines Shopify with our proprietary platforms and localized operational structures in each country, we are backing corporate business growth from both technological and execution perspectives. Through this package, we will further strengthen our efforts to deliver the value of Japan-originated IPs to fans all over the world.
