anyCarry Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hidenobu Kosaki) has begun a collaboration with the 'Kanshoku Project,' operated by the general incorporated association Saiai no Shokutaku (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Mihoko Kashiwakura), to launch a full-scale delivery system for the redistribution of prepared meals. By taking over delivery operations previously handled by secretariat staff and volunteers, anyCarry has built a safe food management system and professional operation utilizing its delivery management platform. Following a demonstration period starting in November 2025, the project transitioned to full-scale operations in March 2026.

Overview of the Initiative The 'Kanshoku Project' is an initiative that collects surplus prepared meals from corporate employee cafeterias and hotel buffets and provides them free of charge to local children's cafeterias and organizations supporting those in need.

In this project, anyCarry handles the delivery operations, supporting improved safety and operational efficiency by building delivery operations suited for prepared foods and visualizing location data to track delivery status.

Operational Framework Required for Project Expansion For the Kanshoku Project to expand from the Kanto region to the Kansai region and eventually nationwide, it was necessary to establish an operational framework that addresses the unique characteristics of prepared foods.

(1) Specialized operations suitable for prepared foods A system was needed to consistently implement operations different from standard deliveries, such as time management after cooking, handover procedures, and hygiene rules.

(2) Unified operations with an eye toward nationwide expansion Instead of having different delivery systems for each region, a mechanism was required that could operate based on common rules.

(3) A delivery model that simultaneously satisfies temperature control, immediacy, and route delivery In addition to the quality control unique to prepared foods, a system was needed that could balance efficient route delivery to multiple locations with immediacy (delivery quality).

Solutions Provided by anyCarry anyCarry has built a delivery scheme that simultaneously satisfies the required operational framework by utilizing the expertise accumulated through its food delivery operations and its proprietary delivery management system, 'ADMS (anyCarry Delivery Management System).'

● Standardization of operations for prepared foods ● Ensuring transparency through centralized recording of deliveries via the delivery management system and delivery app ● A system where delivery routes and status are visualized, making it easy for the management side to grasp the delivery situation Through this, anyCarry provides a delivery foundation that supports the safety, operational precision, and scalability of the Kanshoku Project.

*Regarding temperature control, we currently use paper-based records and are considering system integration with ADMS for future operational expansion.

Future Developments Moving forward, the project plans to expand from the Kanto area to the Kansai area (Hyogo), and is considering expanding the recipients to include elderly care facilities and facilities for people with disabilities, in addition to children's cafeterias and organizations supporting those in need.

anyCarry will continue to support the Kanshoku Project from a logistics perspective through operations based on the 'ADMS' delivery management system, ensuring it can be deployed sustainably on a national scale.

About the Kanshoku Project Launched in 2025 by the general incorporated association Saiai no Shokutaku, this is Japan's first food loss reduction project focused on the 'redistribution of prepared meals.'

In Japan, 4.64 to 4.72 million tons of food loss occur annually, with about half (approx. 2.36 million tons) being business-related loss. Additionally, the relative poverty rate has reached 15.4%, making the disparity in access to food a serious issue.

The Kanshoku Project provides 'food that is still edible but would otherwise be discarded' from corporate employee cafeterias and hotel buffets to local children's cafeterias, welfare organizations, and groups supporting those in need, free of charge.

The Kanshoku Project has also been selected for the Ministry of the Environment's model project, 'FY2025 Model Project for Introducing Measures to Reduce Food Loss Associated with Food Consumption Behavior,' and is gaining significant social attention.
