Kashima City and Kashima Antlers are pleased to announce the launch of "Wish List," a new public-private partnership project aimed at resolving regional issues.

This project is an innovative mechanism designed for speedy resolution: it lists various real issues across education, welfare, and infrastructure that are difficult for the local government alone to address. Antlers will act as a "hub," directly matching these challenges with the technologies and services of member companies of the "ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB," a membership organization dedicated to "co-creating regional revitalization."

As the first phase, four companies from the Antlers Business Club swiftly provided support for urgent requests from educational sites, such as improving ICT education environments and ensuring the safety of playground equipment.

In recognition of this, letters of appreciation were presented today, May 7th (Thursday), by Kashima City to each of the supporting companies.

Background of the Project Launch

This project originated from a "Kashima City Mayor's Meeting" held on October 9, 2025, where Mayor Shinichi Taguchi shared real issues faced by the city. It aims to establish a new model case for regional revitalization, guiding the resolution of local government challenges through a corporate network.

Examples of First Phase Initiatives: Supporting Children's Educational Environments

■ Seibido Co., Ltd. and Toyo Keisoku Co., Ltd.: Improving ICT Education Environments
Addressing the issue in schools where images are difficult to see in bright locations like classrooms and gymnasiums, Seibido donated 20 projectors, and Toyo Keisoku contributed large projectors and large screens. This has enabled smooth classes and event operations in bright environments.

■ Miyazaki Co., Ltd. and Oumi Kogyo Co., Ltd.: Creating Safe Playgrounds
Dilapidated playground equipment at 13 facilities within the city, whose replacement had been delayed due to budget constraints, was removed free of charge by leveraging the demolition and removal expertise of these companies. This ensures the safety of children, reduces removal costs, and creates new educational spaces.

Future Outlook

Kashima Antlers positions this project as a sustainable platform for resolving regional issues in Kashima City. Moving forward, they will continue to expand their circle of support not only for educational settings but also for welfare, environmental concerns, infrastructure development, and various other "troubles" faced by the administration.

Concurrently, the goal is to progressively roll out this Kashima City model to other home towns. Antlers will serve as a "bridge," continuously and optimally returning the diverse resources held by ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB member companies to the local community, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the entire home town area.
