With the progress of cloud migration and virtualization, evaluating communication quality including in virtual environments has become critical. On the other hand, there is a challenge where hardware measurement instruments cannot be installed in cloud/virtual environments, making it difficult to grasp communication quality with high precision.
Virtual Network Master is a software-based network measurement solution that solves such challenges. It allows setting measurement points on communication paths within virtual environments, and enables communication quality evaluation through peer-to-peer connection between Virtual Network Masters, or with Network Master Pro MT1000A/MT1040A (hardware measurement instruments).
In this exhibition, we will conduct measurement demonstrations connected to 'ShowNet,' the live network of Interop Tokyo. Visitors can see in real-time the differences in communication quality under different virtual environments and line conditions by connecting to ShowNet from the Anritsu booth. We will also introduce use cases in various network environments.
