Okayama City Launches Recruitment for "Side Job Type Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur" to Promote Arena Development Project (PFI) through Fukugyo Cloud

Okayama City has contracted Another works Inc. for "Reiwa 8th year external expert utilization support services." The recruitment for an "Arena Development Project (PFI) Promotion Advisor" is based on the "Side Job Type Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur" system, established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. This system allows individuals to work with local governments for at least 4 days/20 hours per month, including at least one day of local stay, to address regional challenges. Another works, founded in May 2019, operates "Fukugyo Cloud," a platform that had over 100,000 registered talents, 2,500 corporate clients, and 250 local government clients as of April 2026. Okayama City is pursuing an arena development project using a PFI (Build-Transfer + Concession) method, acknowledging a lack of internal expertise due to the limited domestic adoption of this specific PFI model.
