Another Star LLC (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Employee: Naoya Yasuda; hereinafter "the Company"), which develops security infrastructure for AI agent collaboration, is pleased to announce that it has received the special "Mirai Vision Award" (prize money of 10 million yen) in Domain 03 "Development of Risk Exploration and Risk Reduction Technologies for Ensuring the Safety of Generative AI" of the "NEDO Prize-based Program GENIAC-PRIZE," organized by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). The Mirai Vision Award is a special award that evaluates the novelty and future potential of proposals, and only three companies, including ours, received it.
The GENIAC-PRIZE is a prize-based R&D contest established as part of the "GENIAC" generative AI social implementation support project promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and NEDO. It is a program that widely solicits applications aimed at solving social issues using generative AI services and awards prizes (totaling approximately 800 million yen) based on results. The award ceremony was held on March 24, 2026, at Kanda Myojin Hall (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
■ Background and Path to the Award
AI agents are rapidly evolving from standalone AIs to entities that autonomously collaborate with multiple external AIs to perform tasks. As Google's proposed A2A protocol (Agent-to-Agent Protocol) standardization progresses, the era of AI agents communicating directly without human verification is becoming a reality.
The cybersecurity market for AI agents is projected to grow from approximately $22.6 billion (approx. 3.4 trillion yen) in 2024 to approximately $322.4 billion (approx. 48.4 trillion yen) by 2033, with a compound annual growth rate of 34.4% (according to Grand View Research). However, in this rapidly growing market, many existing security solutions target endpoint or network layer defense, and a "protocol-level security foundation" to ensure the trustworthiness of AI agent communication itself is not sufficiently established, both domestically and internationally.
This structural change brings new risks that traditional security cannot address. The Company focused on this空白領域 (blank area) and identified two risks: ① uncertainty regarding the authenticity and trustworthiness of external AI agents, and ② AI agent hijacking due to indirect prompt injection (malicious data being executed as commands). Based on these, we proposed the concept of a "trust layer required in an era where AI agents communicate with each other."
During the judging process, our concept of a self-improving loop was highly evaluated for its novelty and future potential. This loop not only monitors AI agent communication to detect and block anomalies but also feeds detected anomalies back into a trust score on the agent store, continuously improving the safety of agent collaboration. We also confirmed a series of operations, from anomaly detection and blocking to reflection in the trust score, through verification using sample agents and a live demonstration.
■ Developed Platform: "Domestic OSS Secure AI Agent Collaboration Platform"
The platform developed by the Company is a unique foundation, both domestically and internationally, that provides a trust layer for AI agent collaboration. It consists of a multi-layered defense structure with two core components: the "Agent Store" and the "Intermediary Agent."

【Agent Store】
This component is responsible for pre-screening and visualizing trust scores. In addition to a screening pipeline that utilizes evaluation datasets and adversarial prompts provided by the AI Safety Institute (AISI), it also verifies the consistency between the functions described in the self-introduction information (Agent Card) published by agents and their actual behavior. These results are comprehensively evaluated by a multi-agent consensus system of juror and judge agents using multiple LLMs and visualized as a trust score.
【Intermediary Agent】
In response to user requests, this agent selects appropriate combinations of AI agents from the Agent Store and handles everything from planning to execution. By separating plan generation and execution, and incorporating a detection agent, it detects and blocks out-of-plan actions and AI agent hijacking (indirect prompt injection) that occurs via external data in real-time. Detection results are fed back to the Agent Store's trust score, continuously improving the safety of agent collaboration.
This platform's entire source code is publicly available as OSS on GitHub (https://github.com/another-star-llc/secure-ai-agent-matching-platform), and logs of all evaluation processes are also shared with high transparency.
■ Future Outlook
With this award as a milestone, the Company will continue to engage in dialogue with stakeholders, including public institutions, and expand the number of registered operators in the Agent Store. We aim to build an ecosystem of verified AI agents and establish security standards for AI agent collaboration through industry-academia-government cooperation.
Furthermore, we will establish a system to support operators at each stage of evaluation, introduction, and operation, thereby promoting the safe social implementation of AI agent collaboration.
■ Award Team Comment
"A society where AI agents autonomously collaborate is arriving faster than imagined. In such a society, 'being able to communicate with trusted parties and with trusted content' is a crucial prerequisite for safely enjoying the benefits of AI. We interpret this Mirai Vision Award as recognition that our approach can contribute to a safe AI society of the future.
In this domain, which addresses AI-specific risks that traditional authentication technologies cannot fully handle, we believe it is crucial to establish open global security standards before major platform providers monopolize the market. Our company received this award just eight months after its establishment in July 2025, which we take as a result of our team's technical capabilities and the recognition of the urgency of this issue. We will continue to open it widely to the community as OSS and work with industry, government, and academia to establish global security standards for AI agent collaboration."
