No.1 in the Street Dance World Decided at Ryogoku Kokugikan! 'Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026 FINAL'

Anomaly Inc. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Kantaro Kanda) held the 'Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026 FINAL' at Ryogoku Kokugikan on Sunday, April 19, 2026, to determine the No. 1 street dance battle champion in Japan.

The event was fully packed, gathering active frontline competitors across 6 categories, including the newly added POPPING, along with BREAKING, HOUSE, and more. While spectacular performances unfolded with gorgeous match-ups realized in each category, the BREAKING final featured a heated battle between NORI and SKEE, thrilling the audience.

Honestly, it's unbelievable, I'm incredibly happy. I started HOUSE in the 5th grade of elementary school, and watching TATSUO battle on this stage made me want to stand here someday. I am full of gratitude to everyone who always supports me, and above all, to my family. I will do my best to win the championship again next season.

I finally won. Breaking requires stamina, so it's more suited for younger people, but I'm really glad I could win at the timing of turning 40 this year. However, personally, I couldn't give a very good performance, so I will take revenge again next year.

Great job everyone. Looking back at various things with this being my 5th championship, it really isn't easy. There was drama, and the final dance was truly the best. I will continue to take on challenges, so please keep supporting me.

I wasn't in top form, but since we could unfold a heated battle, I think I was still able to give a good performance.
Recently, I've come to see the greatness of my seniors and what I haven't been able to do, so I want to take revenge again next year.
POPPING is much more than this, so I hope you will come see it again next year.

Hakuto (Pallet gang / DIME YOOAK)
It was my first time competing in the FINAL, but until now, not many poppers have advanced in the KIDS category, so I took on the challenge with a strong determination to win. As a result, I'm truly happy to win in this way.
I have one more chance to compete in KIDS, so I will definitely win next time too!

■ What is 'Mynavi DANCEALIVE'?
Born in Japan in 2005 as 'DANCE@LIVE', it is one of the world's largest 1on1 format street dance battles. Dancers face off 1-on-1, improvising one move at a time to the music played by the DJ. The simple rule is that only the DJ knows the song being played, and the one who gains more votes from the JUDGE wins.

DanceAlive is divided into 6 categories, holding qualifiers leading up to the final tournament. It is separated by dance styles: HOUSE, BREAKING, HIPHOP, ALL STYLES, and POPPING make up the 5 styles in the general division called GENERAL. In addition, there is KIDS, an all-styles battle division for junior high school students and younger. Qualifiers are held across 8 regions nationwide (Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, Kyushu) throughout the year, competing for advancement to the final tournament held in April.
