From Hokkaido to the World: Creating a Future Where Arab and Japanese Women Connect Through the Power of Beauty and Heart ~An international exchange project connecting Japanese and Arab women, focusing on beauty, health, and mental care, begins~

Our company supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to announce dreams. This press release is the dream of "Kominna Obara, Representative Director of Amazing Ankh Co., Ltd."

My dream is to create a new platform for exchange where Japanese and Arab women connect across cultures through the power of beauty and heart.

While operating the beauty salon "Oasis Ankh" in Sapporo, Hokkaido (entering its 23rd year in June 2026), I have been involved in the beauty industry for over 30 years. The beauty profession is not just about enhancing appearance; it's also about supporting people's lives.

Many clients visit the salon at turning points in their lives or when facing difficulties. During these times, I have come to feel that "beauty has the power to support people's hearts."

Based on these experiences, I advocate for "Total Balance Beauty," a concept that values the harmony of beauty, health, and mind.

In recent years, I've had even more opportunities to interact with women from overseas. And I've been keenly reminded that even with different cultures, religions, and social backgrounds, women share many common values and aspirations for life.

From these experiences, I began to feel that if we could create a space where women can understand and learn from each other across cultures, new possibilities for the future could emerge.

Especially in an era where the world is changing dramatically, I believe that women connecting across cultures holds great significance.

My dream is to create an international exchange community where women connect, learn, and support each other from the perspective of beauty and heart.

We shared this challenge in last year's April Dream.

Since then, ・We began preparations to sell our original beauty products for the Arab market. ・We introduced Arabian Healing Esthetics to our salon's esthetic services. ・We held mini exchange meetings for Arab and Japanese women. ・We disseminated exchange information. —and have been steadily moving forward with our initiatives.

Report on Arab x Japan Career Women Cultural Exchange Event ~Borders Disappear Where Hearts Meet

We are promoting the creation of a community where Japanese and international women interact, aiming to form a cross-cultural women's network.

The beauty salon "Oasis Ankh" in Sapporo, Hokkaido. We advocate for Total Balance Beauty, which values the harmony of beauty, health, and mind.

Someday, I envision a scene where Japanese and Arab women drink tea in an Arabian cafe in Cairo or Dubai, listening to the call to prayer, and discussing the future.

—That's the scene I imagine.

Japanese women and Arab women share many commonalities, such as the importance of family and the strength to live positively even in difficult times.

I believe that by connecting women who share such values, new forms of international exchange will emerge.

In Japan, there is a concept called "Kotodama" (the power of words).

A dream spoken with sincere words gradually paves the way to reality.

I hope this small dream, starting from Hokkaido, will someday spread to Cairo, Dubai, and then to the world.

Future Activities

From now on, we aim to foster a network that can host exchange events and wellness programs in various locations in the Arab region (mainly Dubai and Egypt), where Japanese and Arab women can meet and discuss life, careers, and culture.

Furthermore, to facilitate these activities and other operations, we have decided to establish a base in Tokyo.

We will also focus on creating online exchange opportunities.

Starting in May 2026, we plan to sequentially roll out online exchange events and wellness programs connecting Japanese and Arab women.

Additionally, by utilizing Instagram to relay information on culture, values, and lifestyles from both regions, we will promote continuous mutual understanding and community building.

This may be a small challenge starting from Hokkaido. However, we believe that by Japanese and Arab women meeting and sharing their cultures and life philosophies, new possibilities for the future will emerge.

In this project, we value encounters with like-minded colleagues and business partners.

Our wish is to create a future where Japanese and Arab women respect and support each other through learning about beauty, health, and mind.

We aim to create new value connecting Japan and the Arab world by collaborating with people from various fields such as beauty, health, education, and cultural exchange.
