Winners of the "20th Seiyu Awards (2025)" Newcomer Seiyu Award Appointed as New Narrators for "Animax" and "Kids Station"!

Animax Broadcast Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Masao Takiyama), which operates the anime specialty channels "Animax" and "Kids Station," has appointed three voice actors who won the "20th Seiyu Awards (2025)" Newcomer Seiyu Award – Manatsu Murakami, Momoka Terasawa, and Yoshinori Nakayama – as the new program promotion narrators for both channels.

This initiative aims to further develop the anime and voice acting industries and foster new voice actors. As a first step, we have selected three rising stars who are currently gaining attention and who won the Newcomer Seiyu Award at the "20th Seiyu Awards (2025)" as our new narrators.

As part of this project, we will produce and distribute "Animax Original Short Movies" featuring the three voice actors in "Animax FREE," which is currently available on FAST channels*.

We will bring a fresh perspective to the "voices" of both channels, which have been loved by many viewers for years, and provide a platform to widely showcase the proven skills and charm of the award winners, enhancing program navigation and promotions. Please look forward to the new era of the channels with our new narrators.

【Highlights of Animax Original Short Movies】

These videos feature two characters, "A" and "M," who represent Animax. Each of the three cast members challenges themselves with a "two-person, one-role" dialogue and narration! Although they are the same promotional videos, the performances, each highlighting the unique personality of the three actors, result in three completely different versions.

Through distribution on "Animax FREE," which anyone can watch for free with a device, we will deliver the wonderful voices of the three actors and the charm of the channel to a wider audience.
