Anicom Parfait Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kai Ataka; hereinafter "the Company"), a group company of Anicom Insurance, Inc., which holds the No. 1 share in pet insurance (※1), has co-developed the functional wet cat food "anicom Care Deli with uniam" with uniam Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ai Sugimoto; hereinafter "uniam"), which develops a veterinarian-initiated cat-specific healthcare brand. Two new products, "Hairball Care" and "Skin & Coat Care," have been added to this line, and sales will commence today, Thursday, March 26, 2026.

"anicom Care Deli with uniam" Proposes a "New Dietary Habit"

"anicom Care Deli with uniam" is a food that supports cat health, born from the combination of big data from pet insurance held by our group and uniam's strength in scientific nutritional design based on veterinary expertise. It is free of artificial flavors, preservatives, and colorings, contains no synthetic additives, and is manufactured in a HACCP (※2) certified factory. Our group offers this to all pet owners who care about the health of their beloved companions.

※2 HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point): A hygiene management method announced by the Codex Alimentarius Commission (International Food Standards), a joint body of FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and WHO (World Health Organization). HACCP certification refers to being objectively recognized, after review by a third-party organization, as "implementing HACCP-based hygiene management in accordance with Codex HACCP standards as a system."

With the addition of these two new products, the lineup now totals seven products, including the existing five products (Intestinal Immune Care, Dental Care, Kidney Care, Refresh Care, and Post-Spay/Neuter Care).

Overview of the Two Newly Released "anicom Care Deli with uniam" Products

The five products released in the first phase in June 2025 and the second phase in September of the same year were developed with a focus on internal body conditions such as kidney and intestinal health. Now, new products focusing on common concerns in daily life, such as skin, coat, and hairballs, have been added, completing a lineup designed to address a wider range of conditions, from internal to external body health.

Ingredients were selected based on the cat's habit of ingesting hair during grooming and regurgitating it as hairballs. This nutritional design considers bowel movements and hairball excretion, incorporating fiber-rich apples and pumpkins, as well as chitosan and chicory root extract to regulate the intestinal environment.
