Ani-lience Inc.'s mission is 'to contribute to animal health through life science.' By providing services that detect disease progression early from the pre-symptomatic stage and maintain health, we aim to extend the healthy lifespan of animals, including pets.

■ The Background to Realizing Our Dream

We have been tackling issues related to healthy lifespan, starting with the early detection of periodontal disease in dogs and cats, and providing early detection and dental care guidance.

In Japan, about 16 million dogs and cats are kept as pets, and it is said that 80% of those over two years old suffer from periodontal disease. That number amounts to 11 million.

Periodontal disease in dogs and cats progresses faster than in humans and is difficult to notice.

It is also known to increase the risk of heart disease, kidney disease, and liver disease.

Through our proprietary research, we have been conducting health monitoring, early detection, and prevention projects to extend the healthy lifespan of animals using early disease detection technology.

Through our activities, we will create a world where 'periodontal disease in dogs and cats is zero'.
