About the 'Kumamoto Mizukari Oen-tai'

To ensure that everyone can continue living safely in their familiar communities, Kumamoto Prefecture promotes the 'Kumamoto Mizukari Oen-tai' initiative, which involves local businesses and organizations in monitoring households and children who may need support.

Collaborating businesses come from diverse industries and operate under agreements with related organizations, including the Kumamoto Prefectural Council of Social Welfare, Kumamoto Prefectural Council of Public Health Officers and Child Welfare Officers, Kumamoto City Council of Public Health Officers and Child Welfare Officers, Kumamoto Prefectural Police Headquarters, and Kumamoto Prefecture.

Anesis' Kumamoto Mizukari Activities

Around its eight locations across the prefecture, Anesis conducts daily morning cleaning activities and visits to construction and property management sites, during which staff observe signs of change in residents' conditions or homes—such as piled-up mail, lights left on for extended periods, or suspicious individuals loitering.

Additionally, during neighborhood construction notifications and routine inspections, staff engage in direct conversations to detect signs of elderly residents' health issues or consumer fraud risks, such as suspicious contractors entering homes.
