[Lecture Purpose]

Currently, various TIMs (Thermal Interface Materials) are commercialized in the market, but it is quite difficult to fully understand their individual characteristics and select the optimal TIM product for a given product. In this seminar, the basic knowledge of thermal resistance and heat transfer necessary for understanding TIM characteristics will be thoroughly explained in the first half, and in the second half, it will be explained in detail how such thinking is useful for appropriately selecting TIMs. Examples of actual product usage will also be introduced.
