To address the growing need for solutions in the field of nanoparticle and carbon nanomaterial grafting, we are launching a "Nanoparticle/Carbon Nanomaterial Grafting" lecture series featuring a leading expert. This lecture will introduce "Dispersion control and the impartation of properties such as antimicrobial and flame retardant characteristics through surface grafting" and "Application development of surface-grafted CNTs to new actuators, hydrogen sensors, and more" by summarizing simple grafting methods onto nanoparticle and carbon nanomaterial surfaces! Knowledge to be Gained and Technical Challenges to be Solved in This Seminar ─────────────────────── • By understanding the methodology of nanoparticle surface grafting, participants will acquire skills in functional design of particle surfaces and dispersion control technology. • Participants will gain the ability to apply the acquired techniques to the grafting of new nanomaterials such as the recently highlighted cellulose nanofibers and cellulose nanocrystals. • Participants will acquire knowledge for applying nanoparticle surface grafting technology as a means of developing new functional materials. • Information on new applications of nanomaterials with controlled dispersibility will be provided.
